15 People Survive Avalanche in Kyrgyzstan’s Tian Shan Mountains

A group of tourist hikers alongside three guides and two horsemen survived an avalanche while hiking in Kyrgyzstan’s Tian Shan Mountains. One of the tourists took video and photos of the avalanche, allowing the world to see the power and danger of such an event. This avalanche came one week after an avalanche in Italy’s Dolomite Mountains killed 11 climbers, hikers, and guides.
