ReNew Earth Running Haulin’ Pollen 5k
August 7, 2022, 8:00am Lake Phalen, St. Paul, MN
The second annual ReNew Earth Running Haulin' Pollen 5k will kickoff the Lower Phalen Creek Pollinator Festival! Proceeds from the 5k will benefit RER's mission and Lower Phalen Creek Project's work of protecting nature and sacred sites.
Construction has begun on the Wakan Tipi Cultural Center! This is such tremendous news, and as a result, the Haulin’ Pollen 5k and the Pollinator Festival are moving to Lake Phalen this year. The 5k course will include one loop around Lake Phalen. After you finish your amazing run, runners are invited to stay and enjoy a full morning of activities at Lower Phalen Creek Project’s Pollinator Festival!
In person runners will receive a custom Haulin' Pollen wooden medal by Tuscarora Woodworks and a t-shirt printed by Foxtrot Marketing which if owned by Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, the business arm of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for female, male, and non-binary will each go home with a hummingbird feeder.
Virtual - RER is also excited to be offering a virtual option for this 5k. Virtual runners can support the work of RER and Lower Phalen Creek Project with their registration and will also receive a Haulin' Pollen 5k wooden medal and t-shirt.
