Water Carry & Camp Sierra Madres

Join Runners for Public Lands and the Los Padres Forest Association on an overnight service project to support the restoration of the Sweetwater Trail within the San Rafael Wilderness.

This event allows the RPL community to contribute to land stewardship in a unique and impactful way! Their goal is to carry and deliver 40-50 gallons of water to allow the trail crews to complete the needed work on the trail. Together, you will run, hike, and walk with as much water as you can.

Once the trail is restored, it will open up all sorts of fun loops to and from the Sisquoc River in the Sierra Madres.
