Protect Our Winters is proof in the pudding that athletes and enthusiasts can elicit real change in the fight to protect the Earth.

Snowboarder Jeremy Jones founded Protect Our Winters in 2007 to unite the winter sports community against climate change. In 2013 he was recognized as a Champion of Change by President Barack Obama. 

Protect Our Winters works on several campaigns that support initiatives that will have real impact on climate change. As of this writing, they are working on initiatives to rebuild using clean energy, stop the money pipeline to dirty energy, protect the Artic Wildlife Refuge, and pass the CORE act.
