Yosemite National Park Closes Indefinitely Due to Snow

Some areas of the park received up to 15 inches

On March 1, 2023 Yosemite National Park officials announced that they would remain closed due to “extreme weather that has brought a significant amount of snow.” In an Instagram post, park officials stated that some areas of the park received up to 15 inches of snow. Yosemite will be closed indefinitely. This announcement follows a February, 26 closure due to forecasted severe winter weather.
